How the check works
Staff clock in from their own phones, so every clock in, clock out and break is
checked against the circles below. A phone also reports how accurate it thinks its
fix is; that margin is allowed for, so someone stood inside a building whose phone
places them 60m out is still let through. A fix too vague to mean anything is
refused rather than waved through.
Do not set a radius below about 100m. Indoors a phone falls back to
wifi positioning and routinely reports 50–100m of error, so a tighter circle
locks out staff who are genuinely in the building.
